Chiang Mai: Whole Earth Restaurant

on

Today I want to talk about one of my favourite restaurants  here in Chiang Mai: Whole Earth Restaurant. Not only is the location picture perfect, but the food is just out of this world.  I first visited this restaurant  two years ago on my first trip to Thailand. Since that day I just couldn’t get that place (and the mango sticky rice) out of my head. So on my return to Chiang Mai this year, this was of course one of the first spots we went to!

The restaurant is located in a typical Lannah Style House and offers indoor and outdoor seating. I prefer the outdoor area as it gives you a nice view of their garden.
The menu offers a nice variety from traditional (northern) Thai dishes to some Indian specialities. As this place offers both vegetarian (vegan) and omnivore dishes, this place is also perfect if you’re going out for dinner with non vegan friends. So everyone will get their fix. The prices might be more on the higher end, but for a fancy night out it is totally worth it, trust me!

Don’t miss out on the mango sticky rice, it is uber yummy!

Here are a few impressions of my several visits:

I’m working on the ultimate guide to eating vegan in Chiang Mai, so stay tuned for that!
