Recipe: Hummus

Hummus is one of my favourite condiments, it just goes with everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. I put it on toast, add it to curries as a final topping or just enjoy it with potatoes or veggies. Most store bought hummus preparations are high in fat and in salt, which is why I always try to prepare my own, low fat hummus once a week and believe it or not it’s as easy as 1 – 2 – 3!

1 can of chickpeas (approx. 200g)
lemon juice of approx. 1/2-1 lemon
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 teaspoons Tahini
1 small garlic clove
salt to taste if desired
Water until preferred consistency

Put everything in the food processor (or high speed blender) and blend until creamy. Enjoy!

      Misst sech bis zu 5-6 Deeg haalen, mee meeschtens packt en et net esou lang ;)
